John Soto Ricozz Tours Talking Costa Rica

John D Soto - Owner - Ricozz Tours

A MESSAGE FROM JOHN

Hola, my name is John and I want to personally welcome you to Ricozz Tours. I take great pride in my country and want to share with you all the beauty and ecological wonders Costa Rica has to offer.

Lush cloud forests, warm beaches, exotic rainforests and majestic volcanoes await you in Costa Rica, a country known for its natural diversity. This small Central American country is packed with beautiful national parks and an abundance of birds and wildlife.

Between the sea and the mountains, the towns and the jungles, in a colorful, artistic mix of natural landscapes, you will find the best of Costa Rica- its people. The Costa Ricans (Ticos) are friendly, life-loving people, peaceful and well educated. They enjoy hosting visitors in their country.

Costa Rica is the bridge between North and South America, flanked to the east by the Caribbean, the west by the Pacific, to the north by Nicaragua and the south by Panama. Within its 20,000 square miles, Costa Rica boasts 5% of the biodiversity of the world and the government is committed to preserving its natural resources. Costa Rica’s tropical climate is ideal with sunrises around 6:00 am and sunsets around 6:00 pm year round.

As impressive as the drama of the vegetation and the fury of the volcanoes, is Costa Rica’s peaceful society, where democracy and freedom of expression reign. The country is one of the oldest democracies in the Americas, and is a free and independent republic. Its habitants enjoy full political stability with a long-standing commitment to democratic freedom. Peace is Costa Rica's most valued feature. The country has had no army since it was abolished in the mid-20th century.

Costa Rica has something for everyone. For travelers looking for an adrenaline rush, the country boasts some of the world’s best rapids for whitewater rafting or you can zipline through the canopies of the many breathtaking forest regions. For nature lovers, there are countless opportunities to observe birds and other wildlife as you surround yourself with breathtaking plant life. Or you could just lounge on the tranquil beaches and take in the beauty of the sea. The Costa Rican’s have a word for the feeling of absolute contentment that you will experience when you stay in our country – “Pura Vida” meaning pure life.
